new

This year’s film slate showcases a selection of titles sure to entertain, inspire and foster cultural understanding. From comedies like “Una Mujer Sin Filtro” (“A Woman Without a Filter”) to thrillers such as “Los Que Aman Odian” (“In Love and In Hate”) to uplifting family films including “Tesoros,” (“Treasures”), the festival truly offers something for everyone.
A variety of special activities throughout the festival will complement the film line-up. These include:
April 13 –6-8 p.m. : Join Marcus Theatres for a Selena Celebration presented by Sol, a brand ofMillerCoors , in recognition of the late singer Selena Quintanilla-Pérez’s birthday. This special tribute will feature a lookalike contest judged by La GranD Radio, food and beverage specials and more prior to the8 p.m. showing of “Selena.”April 14 –1-4 p.m. : TheMilwaukee Brewers ™ and Marcus Theatres have teamed up for a Cerveceros Tailgate! Get a taste of tailgating atMiller Park with tailgate games, spin-the-wheel and photo opportunities with Chorizo®,Bernie Brewer ™ and friends. Then, stay to catch a festival film.April 15 –10 a.m.-1 p.m. : Bring the family to Marcus Theatres for a Family Fiesta presented by Aquafina® featuring a variety of crafts and activities including make-your-own Papel Picados, face painting and more. The fun continues with showings of “Coco” or “Ferdinand” following the party.April 15 : TheWisconsin Hispanic Scholarship Foundation (WHSF)/Mexican Fiesta is hosting an invitation only 45th Anniversary Celebration of Mexican Fiesta for past scholarship recipients and their families.
